Our son, Thomas III, was born September 23, 2013 with a lot
of cysts in both of his kidneys. This is called Polycystic Kidney Disease, PKD.
This is a progressive disease that ends in Kidney failure. Thomas will
eventually need dialysis and a kidney transplant. Thomas' timeline is unknown
but the situation is severe.
